Step 1

Login to your Administrator account of your esportsdesk.com website.

Step 2

If applicable, pick your site using the drop down list at the top of the page or from the Sites page in the Sports section of your administrator navigation

Step 3

Click Teams & Rosters and then click the blue number box in the Active Roster column for the team you want to work with

Step 4

From the Actions menu, click Edit on the player you wish to mark as suspended

Step 5

In "Team & Player Status" box, select the dropdown under "Status" and select Suspended.  Doing this will cause a new set of fields to appear where you can:

  • enter the details of the player's suspension
  • choose whether the suspension details should be shown on your site's Transactions page (if applicable for your site)
  • opt to have a suspension notification email sent to the player and their team's non-player personnel or other email address(es)

The system will automatically reinstate a suspended player (i.e. remove their suspension and mark them as Active) when the "Eligible to play again on" date arrives.  If you do not enter an "Eligible to play again on" date, the system will not automatically remove the suspension for you.

*Note*: The Display on Transactions page option is not available for a free site. If you are a Plus/Pro client, please get in touch with us directly to enable the viewing of transactions on the public page.

Be sure to save your changes by pressing Save Changes button at the bottom of the page, or the green circle button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 6

Here is how it will look on the public page. You can press the red "S" icon (on non-responsive sites) or hover your mouse over the red crossed-circle icon (on responsive sites) to see details of the suspended player.
