Most of the slideshows on esportsdesk.com display image at a 16:9 ratio. To get the best results, we suggest you create your image with this ratio in mind before uploading it to your website's Photo Album / Slideshow.


Below are the steps to create a 16:9 image prior to uploading to your website's Photo Album / Slideshow:

 

  1. Go to https://pixlr.com/x/ and click the blue “Open Image” button

  2. Open the image you want to post to the website’s slideshow

  3. Select “Web” and click Apply




  4. Click the Layout & Template button, then the Resize Image button and then enter 468 for the height.  The width value should adjust automatically to keep the image’s current proportions.  Click Apply




  5. Click Canvas Re-size, enter 833 for the width and click Apply

 

  1. Click Save in the bottom-right corner of the window (give the image a new name, if you like), then click Download and save the modified image to your computer.




  2. Upload the new (16:9 ratio) image to the Photo Album on your site and set it to show in the slideshow
