You can offer discounts to registrants who register in volume (i.e. register more than 1 person, or register for more than one event). You can add this using the Group Discounts feature in your SMART Administration area.
*NOTE*: Discounts are applied to a single shopping cart only. Discounts will not be available if a person returns at a later time to register more participants. If a coupon code is also used, the coupon will be applied first and then the discount will be applied to any remaining amount.
Step 1
Login to your Administrator account and access the SMART Administration area of your account.

Next click Group Discounts on the left navigation menu.

You will be taken to the Discount Details form. Fill out the form accordingly starting with the Discount Name. You can choose to add a Wavier if you wish.
Step 4
Choose which Registrations you want to offer group discounts for by selecting the Events from the list on the left. The group discounts will only apply to the events you selected, which appear on the right as shown below.

Next fill in the details of your Group Discount:
Registrants - Offer discounts to groups of one or more (e.g. 4 or more registrants)
Amount/Type - Offer discount of flat dollar amount or percentage by typing in the amount and choosing the Type from the dropbox. (dollars or percent)
Applied - Choose whether you want to apply the discount per registrant or per transaction

You can add different group discounts for the same events by clicking + Add Another Row if you wish (e.g. 4 or more, 10 or more etc.). Click Save Discount Details to add the discount to the event registration.
