If your organization uses esportsdesk.com to sell event registrations and/or memberships, and also uses Xero Accounting, then you can integrate the two systems so that invoices are automatically created in Xero when purchases are made.

Step 1

Under the Settings section in your administrator area navigation, select Global Settings, the click the Xero tab, and then the Connect to Xero button

Step 2

A window will open asking you to log in to your Xero account

Step 3

Once connected, you will need to set the default Xero account to be used for registration and/or membership sales, as well as the Xero account to be used to record esportsdesk.com's processing fees.  Finally, to make reconciliation easier, we recommend creating a new "Current Asset" account named "Due from esportsdesk.com" to act as a clearing account.

The Current Asset type Payments Account you create must have the following outlinedsettings:

Step 4

Although, you don't need to do anything further for your Xero setup, you do also have the ability to set the below Xero options for each event or membership sold through your esportsdek.com site.  These settings can be found by editing the individual event or membership settings.

Step 5

As registrations and memberships are purchased from your site, the system will automatically create and update invoices in Xero.  To make reconciliation easier, you can go to the Payment Report and select a specific payout to get a report of all transactions associated with that payout.
