Setting Up Event Registration Service Fees

This article will show you how to properly set up your event registration service fees. (Convenience Fee and Credit Card Fees). You can read the Services Fee (You Pay or User Pay) article for detailed information about these fees.

 Follow the standard steps to create an Event Registration.

Step 2

When you reach the bottom of the information form, you will need to set up the service fees accordingly. Here are some guidelines:

• The default currency is CAD and can be changed to USD or AUS.
• The default settings for both the Convenience Fee and the Credit Card Processing Fee are User Pay; which lists the service fees separately in the esportsdesk User Account shopping cart.
• A more common approach by organizations is to include the Convenience and Credit Card Processing Fees in their advertised Program Fee – maintaining a no cost operation for the club and the traditional model of a ‘single price’ to get in the game.
• Administrator must agree to the Terms and Conditions to click the Update button at the bottom of the Registration Form.
