Spare / Substitute Players

This article will show you how to set someone as a spare / substitute player for a team.

The First Time the Player Subs After Registration

Step 1

Login to your Administrator account of your esportsdesk.com website.

Step 2

If applicable, pick your site using the drop down list at the top of the page.

Step 3

Click Edit Rosters.

Step 4

Select Inactive Players from the dropdown. The list of current Inactive Players will be shown below.

Step 5

Click Edit for the player in question.

Step 6

Under the Team & Player Status section:

• Select their team from the "Current Team" drop down
• Set "Status" to Active
• Set "Import" to Yes (substitute players are indicated by the term "Import")

Step 7

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Click to Save Changes.

If the Player Subs for a Different Team

Step 1

Select the team the player subbed for first. If you haven't set the player as a sub yet for their current team, follow Steps 1 - 7 above before proceeding.

Step 2

Click Edit for the player in question.

Step 3

Leave the current team as it is (it should always be the first team the player subbed for). 

Under Additional Teams select the other team they sub for.
