In the Online Text Editor, you can link a string of text to a PDF file, an Office Document or an image. Users who click on the link will be able to download the file directly from your offsite source, or a file you upload to our server.
*Note*: Not all text editors in the administration area will feature the file upload functionality.

First Login to Your Administrator Account.
Step 2
Here are some pages in the administration area where the text editor has the file upload function:
- Custom Pages
- Newsletter
- Registration & Membership: Create an Event Registration
- Bulk Email Tools

Scroll down and type in some text similar to "Click here to download the PDF" etc., then highlight the text with your mouse cursor.
Step 4
Press the Link icon as indicated below and a dialog box will pop up.

If you have a link to an an offsite file, you can paste it here.
Otherwise, click Browse Server to upload your document/image file to the esportsdesk server.
Step 6
If you like, you can create a New Folder in which to store your image(s) on our server. Enter the name of your new folder. Click on your New Folder to enter it.
Step 7
A File Manager window will pop up. Choose the icon to choose a picture from your computer, then press Upload. Wait for it to finish uploading.
Step 8
Click the file/image you just uploaded.
Step 9
Scroll down to the bottom of your file/image and press Select.
Step 10
The File Manager window will close and the direct link to the file automatically be added to the URL field. Click OK to continue.
Step 11
The text you highlighted will now become a link in which users can now click and open.

Save your changes.
